The town of Poulsbo is situated on the Kitsap Peninsula in Washington State in a beautiful location overlooking the fjord like Liberty Bay so many visitors to the area opt to explore it from the water and there are many boat trips available to take tourists out to sea and to the many small islands that lie just off the coast, nearby. There is an abundance of wildlife to be discovered in the surrounding waters including one of Puget Sound’s largest seal colonies and boats – including kayaks, canoes, paddleboards or electric boats – are available to rent for short tours.
